Handknit Dishcloth small
Got quite a few items finished up yesterday!
One is a really cute "mini" dishcloth that I minied a tad more! It is The Foaming Waves pattern by Nettie DiLorenzo.
This one was knitted in yellow with blue bands to add some spark. The finished size is 6.75" x 6.75". It is available in my Etsy Shop.

Knitted Picture Dishcloth Rooster
Picture Dishcloth Rooster
Bringing back the memories! Way back in 2005, I taught myself how to knit with an instructional book and the Internet.
My first project was a dishcloth with a rooster, "Rodney". I used the wrong type of yarn (acrylic instead of cotton) and I am sure the wrong size needles.
Now 6 years later, I've done another one. This time with the correct type of yarn and needles. Welcome home, Rod!
This handknit dishcloth is available at my ArtFire studio:

Today I finished a sunflower picture dishcloth and am now working on a dishcloth with the State of Arizona.
I will be accepting custom orders of state dishcloths in your choice of colors. $3.00 each plus $2.00 shipping for first one and $1.00 each additional requested. All 50 states and the "USA" are available. Email me with your requests DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY until your order is complete! Mention scrubber and get an acrylic yarn scrub dishcloth free!
These dishcloths are incredibly durable. One I have been using for over 2 years is so beat up and abused and looks horrible.

Baby Face So Surprised Suzie - those wascawy wabbits!
Suzie and I went out to the garden yesterday afternoon to check on how things were looking. Mom can't seem to keep it watered well enough, but .....
Little Miss Suzie insisted that she wear the "New Old Clothes" I made for her, since it was so hot outside and she feels like such a big girl when she gets to wear her bra tops.
Lo and behold! What did we find? A wabbit was eating the corn stalks! I simply couldn't resist getting a shot of dear little Suzie's surprised look!
The outfit was created as a part of a recycled outfit challenge in a doll group I belong to. I used an old pair of my jeans, an old bandana and some scraps of lace hanging around waiting for a small project. I have enough of everything to make several more bell bottoms and bra tops. maybe a halter top and a pair of shorts?

Crocheted Barbie Bed Doll - lavender
I finished adding the embellishments to the Barbie Bed Doll and got some photos.
"Miss October" in lavender and purple from the Victorian Ladies Centennial Collection.
I still need to work on styling her hair. I will update the photos once I do get a successful style accomplished.
The bodice, skirt, train, bustle and bustle pad are crocheted in lavender; the crocheted ribbon and lace trim ribbon are done in purple; the lace trims and accent panels are crocheted in white.
The doll stands in a pillow form with a tube.
You can see more pictures and complete details at my ArtFire Studio - Crocheted Barbie Bed Doll.
The Barbie doll is included in the sale of the gown. She is brand new purchased just for this project. She is the newest version belly-button and flat footed.
