There has always been a fear of knitting scarves! I had this idea of knitting the same row over and over and over again was going to be too boring for me to hold my interest. Seeking a challenge I chose a lacy leaf pattern. Was it ever a challenge!!! With two boys at home 24/7, there isn't much quiet time and I am not a multi-tasker, though I have tried to teach myself to do more than one thing at a time.
I am really happy how this scarf turned out! It's about 6.5 inches wide and 64 inches long in Red Heart Dark Sage. I devoted 4 hours a day and completed it in 4 days. Today, l would like to start a doily project. After getting some doll clothes finished up, photographed and listed. I would like to offer the doll clothes in a set, 3 outfits in one package... imagine the fun of receiving 3 in 1.

A New Knit Scarf!
I taught myself to knit about 4 years ago. Always one for challenge, I started off with baby sweaters and hats and mittens. Never a scarf. I felt like a simple scarf would be too boring and not hold my interest or the pattern would be so involved that I wouldn't be able to concentrate on it.
I found a drop stitch pattern that was simple enough but not boring but not too complicated! PERFECT!
I am so happy with it! I used Lion Brand Homespun Acrylic/Polyester Bulky in the "Lagoon" colorway.
The scarf is currently available at my Etsy Shoppe. Can arrive by Christmas if purchased by Dec. 21.
